TOMMY STINSON GREEN GREEN GRASS OF HOME

Tommy Stinson and his band on stage at the "Home Bass", benefit show for Habitat for Humanity's Columbia County chapter at Club Helsinki in Hudson, playing the classic country song "The Green, Green Grass of Home", with an unannounced guest appearance by Tim Livingston of the Last Conspirators. Tommy's band also featured Chip Roberts on guitar/lap steel and Ryder Cooley on accordion/saw. Tommy, who has recently released his second solo album, is also known as a founding member of seminal 80s band the Replacements and as the bass player for Guns N' Roses. Livingston was also the leader of Albany, NY punk-rock pioneers the Morons ('79-'82).
This event also featured performances by Melissa Auf der Maur, Melora Creager (Rasputina), Meshell Ndegeocello, and "NYC Subway Girl" Cathy Grier.

A powerful rock & roll band whose sound fuses old-school punk, roots rock, and heartland rock, with fierce, often politically charged lyrics on top. The Last Conspirators are fronted by singer and songwriter Tim Livingston a pioneering figure on the punk scene in New York State’s Hudson Valley... true believers, keeping the rock & roll flame burning even if it may no longer be fashionable to do so.. coming across like an Americanized version of the Clash… the Last Conspirators.. waging war against complacency and cherishing the rebels and outsiders on the fringes of American culture. .. raging against the light, whether it's dying or burning bright.”
