From Nippertown.com:
He’s a project manager for Sundazed Music in Coxsackie. He’s the frontman and bandleader for the Last Conspirators. And he’s a regular Nippertown contributor.
Obviously, Tim Livingston knows his music. And he’ll be spinning some of his fave tunes when he takes over the WGXC-FM airwaves from 7-9:30pm on Friday night (January 25). The Hudson-based community radio station can be heard at 90.7 FM, as well as streaming live online.
So what will we be hearing on his playlist when he takes over as guest deejay?
“I have packed up a couple of 45 record cases, along with a few LPs and plan on spinning all vinyl,” says Livingston. “Keeping it loose, but expect a lot of garage rock, punk, shakin’ rock & roll and crunchy guitar instros.
“I also plan on doing a local music history segment, featuring regional music from the past, this time out focusing on some of the early ’80s punk rock/new wave explosion of the Capital Region. Whatever happens, I’m gonna keep it upbeat. After all, it’s Friday night.”
