From the recording History 2006-2016

I once entitled a photograph I hd in a show "A Celebration of Fury". Too good to limit to that photo I had to use it for a song. Part of the lyrics were from a song I had written many years before called "Tribulation Rumble". Already having one "Tribulation in the catalog, I changed the tile and wrote new choruses. I wanted it Big. I think we got it. Turns out the last line foreshadowed the next album.

Lyrics

Militant left, fight for life, freedom of choice, conservative right. Pyscho-billy rebels, camouflaged punks, leather clad rockers, overzealous drunks. Time to celebrate the fury of our power. Time to grasp glory, the glory of our hour. Time to celebrate the fury of our power, Time to contemplate the parable of the sower. All the kings soldiers couldn’t keep the peace. A hundred-million starving didn’t last a week. Neo-young republicans Chinese wall, TV-X eyewitness the television fall. Sticks, and bricks, guns and fun. Ballistic weapons for everyone Lowly servant to priestess high, all together in battle cry. Time to celebrate the fury of our power. Time to grasp glory, the glory of our hour. Time to celebrate the fury of our power, Time to contemplate the parable of the sower. ....and I looked for the answer.. and you know where it was?... it was hiding in the shadow of..

A powerful rock & roll band whose sound fuses old-school punk, roots rock, and heartland rock, with fierce, often politically charged lyrics on top. The Last Conspirators are fronted by singer and songwriter Tim Livingston a pioneering figure on the punk scene in New York State’s Hudson Valley... true believers, keeping the rock & roll flame burning even if it may no longer be fashionable to do so.. coming across like an Americanized version of the Clash… the Last Conspirators.. waging war against complacency and cherishing the rebels and outsiders on the fringes of American culture. .. raging against the light, whether it's dying or burning bright.”
