From the recording History 2006-2016

Every radio show needs a theme song and this is mine.. A call to arms for independent radio to rise up against the corporate regime. I write a lot of songs about the electronic media, TV, Internet. and radio.. Nick, though still the bass player in the band played guitars. on this one too with Terry more interested in the production. a reviewer said about the song: "Against a jungle-rock throb and ominous shards of spaghetti western guitar, Livingston decries the namby-pamby state of popular media...". I agree.

Lyrics

There's a conservative crackdown of the radical left sound so Last Conspirators have declared Radio Warfare. We captured the broadcast tower, thus seizing the corporate power. Tried to shut down our transmission, beating us into submission, but we established or own position united to force their division. Last Conspirators have declared Radio WarfareThe underground has declared Radio Warfare Underground has declared. They covet all of the airwaves. All the same making us slaves. They say the revolution has ended, but the people still have their agenda. They say that the powers have spoken, but our silence is about to be broken. Ready to beat the squares with Radio Warfare Radio Warfare, Radio Warfare, Last Conspirators have declared Radio Warfare. Radio Warfare, Radio Warfare. The underground has declared Radio Warfare.

A powerful rock & roll band whose sound fuses old-school punk, roots rock, and heartland rock, with fierce, often politically charged lyrics on top. The Last Conspirators are fronted by singer and songwriter Tim Livingston a pioneering figure on the punk scene in New York State’s Hudson Valley... true believers, keeping the rock & roll flame burning even if it may no longer be fashionable to do so.. coming across like an Americanized version of the Clash… the Last Conspirators.. waging war against complacency and cherishing the rebels and outsiders on the fringes of American culture. .. raging against the light, whether it's dying or burning bright.”
