From the recording History 2006-2016

One of my attempts at writing a song that embodies the feeling of not being able to go back to a certain place, time and state of mind and soul.. came close on this one but still don't think I have written the one I want.. still trying . A tale of the scene how it was and questioning what it really was all about.. the rebel stance I mean..

Lyrics

There was a time, we were young we were the rebel kind. Always on the run shaking things up livin' by the gun. Sons of the Hippies, daughters of the hypocrisy. militant punks, more about fashion and getting drunk. Just so you know, and there's no mis-understanding. When they cleared the smoke, we were the last ones standing. Where did you go? Trying to save the world again.Yeah, let me know, how that all worked out for you in the end. Remind me what it was that we were fighting for. What was the cause we were living for, I really can't recall. I've forgotten more than I care to remember, lost more than I believe, but in the end you have to wonder. what did we all achieve... Just so you know, and there's no mis-understanding. When they cleared the smoke, we were the last ones standing. Where did you go? Trying to save the world again. Yeah, let me know, how that all worked out for you in teh end. Remind me what it was that we were fighting for. What was the cause we were living for, I really can't recall. I've forgotten more than I care to remember, lost more than I believe, but in the end you have to wonder. what did we all achieve...

A powerful rock & roll band whose sound fuses old-school punk, roots rock, and heartland rock, with fierce, often politically charged lyrics on top. The Last Conspirators are fronted by singer and songwriter Tim Livingston a pioneering figure on the punk scene in New York State’s Hudson Valley... true believers, keeping the rock & roll flame burning even if it may no longer be fashionable to do so.. coming across like an Americanized version of the Clash… the Last Conspirators.. waging war against complacency and cherishing the rebels and outsiders on the fringes of American culture. .. raging against the light, whether it's dying or burning bright.”
