From the recording History 2006-2016

This was a drum piece that Al Kash played at rehearsal for years. I would always ad-lib different lyrics over it but it never formed as a song. I wanted to use it on this project but still not sure of what to do lyrically. When I was dealing with the studio deadline I crammed one night and strung together a slew of thoughts and ideas that were corresponded between myself and the muse (she gets a writer credit). I ended with six hand-written pages. This is one song that was recorded by the band without me doing a guide vocal. When it came down to my part I set down the scribblings I had on paper and improvised from what I remembered from the writings. It was done in one take. Since we never really wrote the song Nick was stuck on what other do on guitar but Chris Fisher coached him though a maelstrom of sonic mayhem that not just fit but took the monster to a higher plane. After working with him going back to my Ghostrunner project and knowing him even longer it was nice to give Al a writing credit on an album, but it was bitter sweet as it turned out to be the last work he did with me.

Lyrics

I finally awoke from a dream in 1302 , in a haze i stumbled out on the street of Pearls in the ghost town I once considered home, only to find it devastated.. not from the explosions, that rocked the planet, or the lethal weapons within. but by love and by the power it brings. I remember the dream so vividly, there was a river, a diner, a parallel world and a beautiful woman, I've seen her there before, but never knew her name, but felt l like I've known her for a 1,000 years .. and when they ask if it really happened, tell them yes, and show them this.. as its the only proof that remains... as we left the room radio active all at once all came down without a word without a sound all at once for all to see just way the its meant to be We rocked it in the graveyard as old souls laughed and danced finally brought together for a second chance Then she spoke to me in golden tongue at the speed of love she said theres something inside you that you have never reached.. Tonight is the time to let it flow like blood... I didn't know How I loved you so my dreams of life took me another path what seemed to drive my passion was only a distraction So little interest in my Desires left me So alone One day I said I miss him so God gave me Another soul The world needs to see How amazing love can be My mind is free And you are me all at once all came down without a word without a sound all at once for all to see.. just the way its meant to be she said My love for you burns brighter that the farthest star in the universe With a force greater than gravity I am your one and only destination for true contentment with your journey... Our addiction is far above all passion mortals could gather in thought... We, together, have rewritten the laws of LOVE... A bondage of pain and Devine pleasure...for only us to fulfill for the Angels to heaven and beyond.. You and me....nothing more to see...we gathered the faith and yes you will succeed...for me.. my love for you is expressed, here and now forever.. Pandora's box has opened...no force greater than GOD can ever close, what you dared to open.. You follow my spirit to depths of pure faith and exotic untouched love I kiss you, I love you. I'm burning like the sun...in your soul The color of you is the color of me..its just too bright for most to see…we then went to the river that flows to the sea she began to walk away but wait No.. Need to see you again I need to look into your eyes.. I I need to know if its real Look at me one more time look at me one more time until we walk again where our shadows once cast Look at me Look at me one more time

A powerful rock & roll band whose sound fuses old-school punk, roots rock, and heartland rock, with fierce, often politically charged lyrics on top. The Last Conspirators are fronted by singer and songwriter Tim Livingston a pioneering figure on the punk scene in New York State’s Hudson Valley... true believers, keeping the rock & roll flame burning even if it may no longer be fashionable to do so.. coming across like an Americanized version of the Clash… the Last Conspirators.. waging war against complacency and cherishing the rebels and outsiders on the fringes of American culture. .. raging against the light, whether it's dying or burning bright.”
