  1. Alright

From the recording History 2006-2016

Nick already had this rocking riff. I pulled from some anger at hand to write this tale of denial in a deterioating relationship and coming to terms that no, everything is not "Alright".

Lyrics

Just sittin’ here another sleepless night awoken by the burn of the neon motel light caught in the crossfire off an urban fire fight remembering a dream that I had that wasn't right We're both swinging at the end of our rope Just got to wonder who'll be the first to go We're both drowning in a sinking boat Just stop telling me telling me it will be Alright was it something that I said or something I did that drove us off the road and out us in a skid There is something about us that I never understood how anything so bad could ever be so good We're like two junkies strung out on dope Just got to wonder who'll be the first to go Got each other right, by the throat And you keep telling me it will be Alright stagger to the street in search of whats left but I got a feeling that its quite not over yet stare into the eyes of a devastated past, sleep-walk through the moments thinking they might last We're like two junkies strung out on dope Just got to wonder who'll be the first to go Got each other right, by the throat And you keep telling me it will be Alright Alright alright

A powerful rock & roll band whose sound fuses old-school punk, roots rock, and heartland rock, with fierce, often politically charged lyrics on top. The Last Conspirators are fronted by singer and songwriter Tim Livingston a pioneering figure on the punk scene in New York State’s Hudson Valley... true believers, keeping the rock & roll flame burning even if it may no longer be fashionable to do so.. coming across like an Americanized version of the Clash… the Last Conspirators.. waging war against complacency and cherishing the rebels and outsiders on the fringes of American culture. .. raging against the light, whether it's dying or burning bright.”
