From the recording History 2006-2016

A chance, brief conversation in a NOHO bar while playing a show in Manhattan sparked this story. I turned a casual encounter into a fictional story of Bond inspired love and espionage. Nick brought the power-pop to the affair.

Lyrics

At the Baltic Sea last I touched your face exit out of the darkness disappear without a trace what they asked of you I never would have done living life alone and on the run Thought I saw you in a NoHo bar last nightMade so much sense you're so far left of right You're in my head happens all the time you're still playing tricks with my mind I'd sell my soul and buy it back again to once again behold your Russian Eyes, Thought I saw you on the TV News tonight In disguise but something wasn't right ask me how I knew it wasn't you The eyes don't lie. so knew it wasn't true want to cut right through all deceit and lies and to seek the truth within your Russian Eyes

A powerful rock & roll band whose sound fuses old-school punk, roots rock, and heartland rock, with fierce, often politically charged lyrics on top. The Last Conspirators are fronted by singer and songwriter Tim Livingston a pioneering figure on the punk scene in New York State’s Hudson Valley... true believers, keeping the rock & roll flame burning even if it may no longer be fashionable to do so.. coming across like an Americanized version of the Clash… the Last Conspirators.. waging war against complacency and cherishing the rebels and outsiders on the fringes of American culture. .. raging against the light, whether it's dying or burning bright.”
