From the recording History 2006-2016

Originally entitled "High Noon Rising" the Last Conspirators 4th album was written and set to be recorded when everything changed. Me and Nick a sudden burst of creative energy writing a slew of songs within a couple week period changing the face of the album and eventually the title itself to "Hold That Thought Forever". This is one of those tracks from those sessions. Lyrically it was a snapshot of what was going on in my life at that very moment and set the tone of the album escaping from the bands usually social political commentary and steering towards matters of the heart and soul.

Lyrics

Two days In May never be the same Soon as we walked out the door As quick as a knife you were on a flight We were back for thirteen more Might been easier if we walked away just left it alone Worlds apart from the start In our comfort zones You and me are meant to be You and me are.. Perfect Lovers in a Complicated World Trying to stay free Perfect Lovers in a Complicated World.. You're in Vienna I'm in New York living far apart Half a world away but thats ok in bondage to your heart Nothing going down that we can't take You you set my soul on fire You set it all ablaze you simply amaze you're are my hearts desire You and me are meant to be You and me are.. Perfect Lovers in a Complicated World trying it on our own Perfect Lovers in a Complicated World Time to take it home…. Time to take it home…. Time to come home….As you set sail the river Rhine I stand firm and pass the time I'll await upon your return my heart my soul how strong they burn See the light shine bright on you see the vision coming through See the legend all is new I see the future strong and true You and me are meant to be You and me are.. Perfect Lovers in a Complicated World doing it on our own Perfect Lovers in a Complicated WorldTime to take it home.. Time to come home..

A powerful rock & roll band whose sound fuses old-school punk, roots rock, and heartland rock, with fierce, often politically charged lyrics on top. The Last Conspirators are fronted by singer and songwriter Tim Livingston a pioneering figure on the punk scene in New York State’s Hudson Valley... true believers, keeping the rock & roll flame burning even if it may no longer be fashionable to do so.. coming across like an Americanized version of the Clash… the Last Conspirators.. waging war against complacency and cherishing the rebels and outsiders on the fringes of American culture. .. raging against the light, whether it's dying or burning bright.”
