The Last Conspirators has been the songwriting, recording and performing vehicle for songwriter/vocalist Tim Livingston since 2006. The All Music Guide calls Livingston "…a pioneering figure on the punk scene in New York State’s Hudson Valley” and The Times Union calls him an "Albany rock legend". He was the founding member of one of Albany’s first punk bands (the Morons ’79-’82). Now 2026,ted, 20 years since the band started, marks the return of the the Last Cons with a new 50-track anthology “History: 2006-2016” and now after spending the past decade focusing on other creative outlets (writing, videos projects. radio hosting), Livingston is back with the intent to release new material once again under the Last Conspirators banner.
The current incarnation of “the band” consists of the duo of Tim and songwriting partner composer/guitarist/bassist,producer Nick Bisanz. Nick, who keeps busy as a solo recording/performing artist, with his band Nicky and the Tone Chasers, plus various live and session work, finds himself also moonlighting with Livingston to help shape the Last Conspirators future sound. Nick was instrumental on the album “A Celebration of Fury” both on bass and guitar and also co-wrote the bands 2016 album ”Hold That Thought Forever” with Livingston, contributing all guitars and heavily to the arrangements. Livingston and Bisanz will be writing, recording and producing the new Cons material themselves, working together from opposite ends of the country with Nick in New York and Tim based on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The only rule to the collaboration.. no musical boundaries!
The new career spanning anthology contains all four of the the Last Conspirators critically acclaimed albums, plus 17 previously unreleased tracks including both acoustic and full-band Radio Sessions and a “Historic” live track. Out on the bands Driving Rain Music label the compilation is currently available on all digital outlets.
